15 Months Old: 1 Year & 3 Months

Kamden is 15 Months Old today... and this is a very exciting time for us! The Christmas holidays are coming up this month, and we have a lot of things planned in the coming weeks. Kamden is at the age now where he can have fun at the holidays and really enjoy all the fun activities that come along with the season!

We have seen a huge jump in development over the past few months. I'm sure it will be even more by the time he is 18 months old (3 months). Kamden is starting to explore different things more, so we definitely have our hands full and eyes open these days! Life is busy, but with him it is much more fulfilling-- and most of all, FUN!

- Weighs 25.4 Pounds and 32.2 inches tall.
- Diapers- Size 4
- Clothes- Size 18 Months
- Shoes- Size 6 Infants (we bought him 6.5 for growing room)
- A mouth full of teeth! Has 12 teeth now... and cutting his two upper canines now! So should have 14 by the end of the month.
- Has learned to eat with a spoon and fork! When it's feeding time... he would rather do it all by himself, now that he has learned to use utensils. So now, we have a spoon for us to help feed him, and one for Kam too!
- Eats just about anything. Not crazy about meats (Chicken or Beef) usually spits those out. Favorite foods right now are Spaghetti. I think he really loves anything with noodles!

- Follows directions easily. We'll hand him something and say... take this to Mommy... take this to Daddy... or go throw this away in the trash can... and he does it! We have really had to watch the trash can now though, because since he knows how to do this he throws everything away! Including Mommy's jewelery and his toys. haha. It comes in handy after we change his diaper though!
- Starting to clean up after himself. Will put his toys back in the toy box if you show him how first.
- Sleeps through the night from 8pm to 8am, waking up once about 3-4 nights out of the week. Usually will go back to sleep with just a pacifier now, but sometimes has to have the bottle (a bad habit we are trying to break). Takes 1-2 naps per day. Usually mid morning or mid afternoon.
- A few new words this month! Still says Momma, Daddy, Bye, Duck, and Dog. Now says "ish" for fish (which reminds me, we said good bye to Dr. Seuss, his pet fish this month... I was more sad about it than he was). Started saying, "See" and pointing to everything in sight!
- Hair is growing long... when he takes a bath it's down to his shoulders! haha.
- Loves to play! Prefers anything that rolls, especially cars and toys that play music or talk. Recently learned how to stack the geometric blocks on the rods of his wooden stacker toy too.
- He gets excited when his Mommy or Daddy comes home from work or school. He will run towards the door with arms wide open ready to give hugs wearing the biggest smile you've ever seen!
