PARTY in my CRIB!

Let the FIRST Birthday celebrations begin! In four short days Kamden will be turning ONE YEAR OLD! This past year has been absolutely AMAZING with him. We are all so excited to see what the next year will have in store.

We have had so much fun planning for his big birthday bash this weekend... while also trying to enjoy our little "infant" baby before he's officially a "toddler."

His pre-birthday celebration was complete with jumping up and down on his bed and doing flips practically in his crib. We had a blast playing before bed. I got him all riled up and excited... he was so full of laughter and giggles!

The most adorable birthday boy ever!!! I told him I was going to get him and he would laugh and try to back himself into the corner of his crib and put the blanket over his head. He loves to act silly and play those "cat and mouse" type games with you lately.

We were hoping he would be walking by his FIRST birthday, but he's not quite there yet. He has started to walk by himself pushing his little push toy. We're thinking that will be his next big milestone in the coming weeks.

Kamden loves to give kisses! I say, "come give me kisses" and he'll pull himself up to give sugars. He gives those big open mouth kind, and it's so adorable. We love it when he is so affectionate and getting night night smooches will melt your heart!

I wanted to start a birthday tradition this year. We try to read to Kamden, every night before bed. Kam loves it when you read to him, and he tries to reach out and touch all the objects on the page now. I bought "Happy Birthday To You" by Dr. Seuss weeks ago, and wanted to read this to him every year on his birthday.
