Kamden's FIRST cold.

We all didn't get much sleep lately because Kamden is getting sick for the FIRST time. He was up every two hours, past midnight two nights ago, all stopped up. He couldn't breathe that well, his poor little nose was running. Every time he would try to drink his bottle, he has difficulty breathing and drinking it at the same time. By morning he was coughing, sneezing, congested and his eyes were watering.

Hopefully this is just a little cold, but it makes it more difficult because you can't really give babies under 2 any over the counter medicines for it. Before he went to bed the past two nights, I gave him a vapor bath and rubbed him down with Vick's baby vapor rub. He was back to his routine (somewhat) the night before last, because he only woke up once, around 2am. Luckily, last night he slept through the night!

I couldn't help but to wanting to go in there to check on him yesterday morning, but I don't want to wake him. I did anyways, and he was sound asleep. This morning, he woke up his normal self! Just playing, bouncing, and laughing. Still a little congested, but getting much better. I hope he feels better soon. There's nothing like a sick child, to worry you to death.
