FAITH for LIFE

Today we went to the FAITH FOR LIFE Fundraiser at Fun Depot. Our friend's baby, Ty, was born, only four months after Kamden. Ty was born with kidney troubles that put him in need of a transplant. His story is touching to many, and we have been trying to support Ty and his family so that they can afford to give him new kidneys.

Fun Depot is the ultimate playground for kids. Which also makes it a great fundraiser idea to raise money for Ty's condition. They have all kinds of arcade games, laser tag, batting cages, mini golf, go carts and many fun things to do! Kamden rode his FIRST kiddy ride today. He loved it! He loves to drive cars and turn the steering wheel. I even let him drive in my lap on the Nascar game.

The smallest children's rides were located in the back corner. We let Kam ride the race car, choo choo train, and miniature bulldozer. He laughed and had a good time. He even tried to stand up in the car! Of course, we had to hold onto him because he is all over the place these days. haha. The best part about it, was most of our immediate family were there. Kamden's Granny and Pappaw Lyda were there, along with his great aunt and cousins. It was nice to catch up, all of us had a great time together.

We stopped inside at the Diner to get a bite to eat. Kamden has tiny bites of table food now from time to time, and loves french fries! We were there for about four hours-- way past little man's bedtime, but he was still bright eyed and bushy tailed and so intrigued by everything that was going on around him! It was an awesome night. I just pray that God heals baby Ty soon and that one day him and Kamden can be playmates!
