Welcome HOME.

Today is LABOR DAY and we were able to bring Kamden home FINALLY! We have been couped up in the hospital all labor day weekend... and it has been absolutely gorgeous weather outside... until the car ride home.

We were almost able to make it home, until I had to make a pit stop to the pharmacy for pain meds and then again at the grocery store so I could wobble my way to the bath room. My feet were so swollen, I could barely walk... and they seriously looked and felt like they were going to pop any minute!

Today is the first day I am starting to feel better. Although, my body is swollen 3 times the normal size because of all the fluids and drugs from the surgery. When we got home the beautiful sunny weather turned into a terrible thunderstorm. When we brought Kamden inside he was sleeping and then the biggest thunder bolt hit and scared me and him awake!


I just kept holding him in my arms and feeling the greatest amount of love I had ever felt before. Shortly after, his grandmothers came over to see him... along with other friends. We have had so many visitors this weekend, you would think a Prince has been born!

My mom cooked a big welcome home dinner for us... and unfortunately, I had to call it a night early because I was getting overwhelmed with all the company and not feeling so well. But overall, it was yet again, a wonderful blessed day in the life of Kamden Parke Biggs.
