Kamden's FIRST trip to the DOC.

At five days old, Kamden had his first Doctor's visit! He goes to Asheville Children's Medical Center in Biltmore Park... who are partnered with Memorial Mission Children's Hospital. He did great today... didn't even cry at all!

At birth he was 7lbs. 7oz.... the day he went home he dropped down to 6lbs. 14oz. Today, he was back up to 7lbs. 2oz.


After our trip to the doctor... I was feeling well enough to get out a little on the pretty fall day. So, my mom drove us to the Farmer's Market by our family's business. Our friends on the market were able to meet our little guy and we got some fresh apples to take home!

Then, I was feeling well enough to go into Edneyville so that Kamden could meet the Lyda Family for the first time.


His Great-Grandfather, "Buck" George A. Lyda was there, his "Pappaw" Eddie and also, Great Aunts Donna and Sandra along with his cousins Scott Case and his son Cameron.

It was a wonderful day.... it got better when my good friend from college, Nichole Turner and her new baby girl Tallyn (4 months old) came to see us at our house!


We let the babies play for a while.... and did some catching up as new mommy's together! It was nice. Turns out, Kamden is a little flirt! haha. I wonder who he gets that from? haha.
