Maelynn's Sunday Church Outfit:
Ivory Clip Bow with Interchangeable Headband, Plaid Flannel Dress by babyGap, Ivory Tights, Ruche Mary Jane Baby in Red by Livie & Luca
I originally found this plaid flannel dress at Gap just before the holidays. Thinking it was perfect for fall and winter, for the color, the warm flannel material and the soft ivory linen lined on the inside. I wasn't expecting Maelynn to be so tiny and petite, so a 3-6 months size has been too big for her until just recently. She is 6 months old and can still wear 3 month clothes. However, she is growing fast so I know it won't be long before she outgrows this. It was a chilly day today, which I wasn't expecting for this time of year, especially considering the warm spring like weather we have been having lately. So today was the perfect day for her to wear this to church, even if she does wear it just this once.

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
We tried a new church our new baby sitter has been telling us about, Revo. They have a new location at the old South Fork Baptist Church building off Country Club Road in Winston Salem, NC. This is the third church we have tried since we have moved here and although its small and newer, its also more contemporary which is more our style. The music and message were excellent and the preacher, being a dad of two young girls, was definitely funny and relatable. They kicked off a new series today about the story of Jonah. It was a touching sermon on what happens when God says "Go" and how it costs us when we say "No." This was also the first time in a long time that both Kamden and Maelynn went to children's church. I am really glad they did because it gave us a break and they both had a great time with kids their own age learning about Jesus. Maelynn didn't even cry! It helped that Cammie, who sits for us sometimes, was in the nursery to watch over her... so at least one familiar face. Now that we are finally starting to settle in after the big move, we are looking forward to hopefully finding a home church soon.
