FIRST trip to the Dentist!

Kamden had his first trip to the dentist today! We chose Dr. Chambers because he was also the pediatric dentist for Keith and I, when we were kids growing up. They have added three other specialists to their team at Great Beginnings in Asheville. They have a kid friendly office, complete with lots of fun toys and things to preoccupy little Kam while we had our visit. Kamden was fascinated by the other kids getting their teeth cleaned and walked over to see what was going on. The check-up was a success, and Dr. Bill says that Kamden's 14 teeth look fantastic (no sign of cavities) and he has two more incisors on the way any day now! That will make 16 total teeth at 16 Months Old! The staff also gave him a goody bag with a new t-shirt and toothbrush. Kamden loves to brush his teeth, and was very excited about that. They still give out balloons at the end of the visit, just like they did when we were kids. Kamden was trying to take them away from the little girls in the waiting room, so he was thrilled when they gave him his very own!
