Kamden's FIRST Easter.
Today is Kamden's FIRST Easter... and he also turns 7 MONTHS OLD!!! We all woke up bright and early. I was so excited about today, I actually made time to cook breakfast for us. I made biscuits and gravy. After breakfast, I got all of us ready in our Sunday best to attend Church service. Getting the three of us all dressed to the nine is a project in itself! We had a wonderful sermon and it was our first communion since Kamden has been born.
After church, we met Keith's family for lunch at the Black Forest restaurant. We had Christmas lunch there too this past year, and it was delicious. Kamden wasn't as quiet and calm as he was then though. He was into everything. We pretty much had to clear the table because he wanted to grab everything and put it in his mouth. I let him have fun with the spoon though. It was enough to keep him entertained for a while.

After we ate... we let Kamden play outside for a few. He was so facinated with the trees and the blooms on them. He was grabbing them and wouldn't let go. We've noticed lately one of his favorite things is to be outside playing.

Once we finished up for lunch, we went to visit Kam's big brother Blake at his house. Then, we came back home so that Kamden could dig into his first Easter basket!!! The Easter bunny brought Kamden all kinds of treats. He got his first bunny, a baby bunny, and a baby chick. Two board books, his FIRST sippy cup, his FIRST dinner plate, new pacifiers, and other baby products. His favorite were the bubbles!

We finished up the day with a nice relaxing evening at home. I spent all afternoon cooking for my family. I made: Sugar cured ham, Mac N Cheese, Sweet Potatoe Caserole, creamed corn, mashed potatoes, deviled eggs & lemonade. It was a PERFECT first EASTER with Kamden!
