a DAY of ADVENTURE.

We had so much FUN with Kamden today. Keith and I took him to the historic Carl Sandburg home and goat farm in Flat Rock, NC. Its only about 10-15 minutes from our house, and was a perfect afternoon adventure.

Kamden's great grandmother Betty Park Johnson (my mother's side), actually went to school with Carl, who is one of the greatest writers in history. It had been years since I have visited there. Needless to say, I forgot that the hiking trail to the goat barn was about a mile. When I picked out Kamden's Quinny Zapp stroller... I definitely went with style rather than off terrain capabilities. You should've seen Keith trying to get Kamden up this hiking trail. It was hilarious. Kam was really enjoying the bumpy ride.

Once we got to the goat barn, they all flocked to Kamden. Especially this goat named "Chloe"... she was so friendly. He got so tickled at petting them and he wanted to pull off their floppy ears.

There were no baby goats this time, but they said to come back next month and they will be born. We can't wait to bring him back... it was a fun day!
