LOOK what I can DO!
This has been the hardest week of our lives since we've had Kamden. We have been away from him for almost a week now! We were out of town with friends this past weekend... and then his Granny took him to visit friends since Monday. His Granny Terri keeps him most of the time, so we had no other choice but to let him go with her. We know he is in the best hands-- but its just the fact of missing him soooo bad and being away from him for the first time for this long.
Its not the same without him. Keith and I come home to a quiet, empty house every night this week. We have so much time on our hands, that it really makes us wonder what we ever did before little Kamden got here! Our days are truly sad without him here with us. The good thing, is that we have both been super busy with work and school this week-- so it has been a little easier on us to have a little break. But, not to say we aren't counting down the minutes until he gets back home to us on Saturday. I miss his giggles, his touch, his eyes and smile to light up my day. The last time we spend a few hours together was Sunday afternoon-- and he just crawled all over us. He's getting to that clingy and loving stage and I just want to eat him up with a spoon!
His Granny sent us this picture today of them grocery shopping.... looks like he's mastered sitting up by himself since he's been away! I look forward to spending some extra quality time with him in the next little while to make up for lost time! Kamden's big brother is coming to stay with us this weekend and we plan to hang out as a family and go get our Easter photos done! We are so excited for the days to come.
