Kamden's FIRST Library Card!

This weekend we took a trip to the Alvin Sherman Library at Nova Southeastern University, where I work and Keith goes to optometry school. Its definitely one of our favorite spots on campus in Davie, FL-- but its also open to the public as a Broward County library. It's the largest library in the southeast and in the state of Florida! 

It's 5 stories tall and super huge!!! Almost the entire first floor is just for kids and Kamden looked so tiny in there. We went through and read a few books on the bean bags in their reading nooks. Kamden also picked out some books to check out, one of them on big trucks of course! They were also having a live concert in the attached theater just for kids and we decided to drop in. We had a ball! 

Kamden loves books and enjoys when we read to him. I was around his age when my mom took me to the Henderson County library in downtown Hendersonville, NC to get my first library card. I thought it would be the perfect time for Kamden to get his very own library card for the FIRST time just in time for his 3rd Birthday!
