the BEST PRESENT of all.

Well, Kamden is almost 3 months old now. I can say that life as a new mom is busy, busy, busy! It's hard to keep up with everything when you have a little one. He is at the center of everything we do... and keeps our hands full at all hours of the day.

I'm really enjoying being a new mother. I feel like this was more than meant to be. I feel like I was cut out for this... it's the BEST thing in the WORLD-- and there are no words to exactly describe the way I feel everyday.

I celebrated my 24th birthday this week... and I'm also getting ready to go back to work next week. My maternity leave ends this week, and I will return December 1st. I can say, that I will miss Kamden everyday-- because I do spend every hour with him 24/7. Although, it will be nice to have a little break... because I can honestly say being a full time mom is like working 2 full time jobs! You don't really rest until your head hits the pillow at night... only to find yourself back up a few hours later, just after you've slipped off into a very good, deep sleep. haha. But he's worth all of it... every sacrifice I ever had to make to bring him into my life!


Now that he will be 3 months old next week... he is really starting to be more interactive. He smiles, plays, laughs, hold his head up, sits supported, is starting to hold his own bottle already! I've also caught him rolling over a few times... but doesn't really know how to control it yet. The one thing he loves more than anything is bath time, eating, and music. Well I suppose that's Mommy's favorite too! hehe. Every time he hears the music come on-- he just kicks away like he's dancing already!

We are looking forward to the holiday season and all the festivities and fun it brings with Kamden.
