KAMDEN.

So his name shall be KAMDEN.

I was having a rough day at work about a month ago and Keith said to hurry home because he had a surprise for me. When I got there I was in tears-- and you know how crazy those pregnancy hormones can be! All of a sudden he put the biggest smile on my face when he pulled out a sheet of paper with different ways to spell our son's name on it... and a few ideas of his own! haha.

I had been getting onto him weeks before about coming up with a name... and this couldn't be a better way to decide together. He's always known that I originally loved the name Camden-- after the river in South Carolina and where the Carolina Cup Horse Race aka: Baby Derby is held every year. He never would agree with me though, just because he didn't think of it first! haha. I had been praying for weeks for God to show us a sign of what his name is meant to be. Then, back in the early summer when we took a little weekend getaway to Atlanta, Georgia-- the Lord couldn't have sent us a more obvious sign! I was just waking up from a nap on the car ride down and the first thing I saw when I woke up was a sign for Camden condos. Now that name is very rare... so I looked over at Keith and said see! It's meant to be!!! haha.

Now, the middle name has been a bit more challenging so far. My pick is PARKE-- after my mom's family's name. I wanted something still modern, yet meaningful. This way it is something passed down from my family-- and would also have the same initials as Keith (just mixed around): KPB.

So... our little Kamden is just growing like a weed and we only have to wait for him one more month!!! Needless to say, WE CAN'T WAIT!!!
