BABY BIGGS in the MAKING.

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!!! Mr. Paul Keith Biggs & Ms. Brittney Clarissa Lyda will be having their first child together, due into the world on September 2, 2009!!!

The day after Christmas, we were very surprised to find out that we would be expecting a little one in the near future. After the initial shock was gone, we realized that this couldn't be more meant to be if we had planned it out, minute by minute. This experience has truly been a blessing in disguise-- and has changed our lives for the better already.

Little did we know, within the upcoming months, we would soon learn so much about life, our families, friends, and each other. Becoming a parent is the greatest gift God ever grants us... and we couldn't feel more lucky to be where we are right now.

After what started out as a stressful day on January 26, 2009-- we had our first ultrasound, that informed us that our little one was 8 weeks 1 day old!!! It looked like a little gummy bear on the screen... but seeing its little heart beat at over 180 beats per minute, filled our hearts with pure joy and finally gave us a peace of mind. That was the day they told us that our baby was conceived on my birthday, which was November 27th... and would be due on September 2nd, which is my grandmother Betty's birthday! Not only did the dates confirm that this was definitely meant to be, but seeing it before our own eyes was just confirmation that we were about to embark on a whole new life together.

As the following weeks, flew by... the reality of it all finally started settling in. It was almost hard to believe at first... but as the little baby bump started to progress, it was just more reassuring that this was our destiny. This experience started bringing us even closer as a couple, and we started planning out each details of our futures together. Soon, things started falling into perspective and our whole lives began to change. We know that despite what else is going on in the world.... this is the most EXCITING JOURNEY of our lives!!!
